Greenhut-Berardino Debate on Pensions

Greenhut-Berardino Debate on Pensions

APRIL 27, 2011

By JOHN SEILER

It was the Great Pension Debate. Yesterday Steven Greenhut, editor-in-chief of CalWatchDog.com, debated Nick Berardino, general manager of the Orange County Employees Association, a government union. It was held at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach and sponsored by the Orange County Forum, the Lincoln Club and the Pacific Research Institute, CalWatchDog.com’s parent think tank.

Topic: “Can Pensions Be Reformed Cooperatively.”

Our pals at Friends for Fullerton’s Future recorded the whole debate. (Thanks Tony and Travis!)

The debate has a good amount of humor. I think Steve got the best of Nick. But judge for yourself.

A link to it is here.
