Good God!! We can't trust either party. With 98% of congress re-elected, with corporate funds, you & I have been selected out of the election process. It's time for a change.

Finally, someone just wrote a great book where a small town in America stands up to federal tyranny(pol. parties etc.)& ends up starting the
2nd American Revolution.

A great book to read for what's coming nxt with govt. being the problem & the 2010 elections about to take place. I recommend the book cause it's about Americans who fight for their country.

There are better questions to ask. Why do we think we can "trust" a politician of any party. Obama's tyranny should remind us to keep all our servants' feet to the fire to uphold and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign (the UN, China, etc) and domestic (Pelosi, Reid, etc)
It's our responsibility to know what our servants are doing

Why not give the Republicans a chance, since the Dems haave already spent us into a hole. The unfunded retirement mandate that Govnot Gray Davis and the Legislature put us into is going to finish breaking the state unless something is done to correct it. Like the auto industry government cannot afford to give such lavish retirement benefits. As to the Federal Government, it needs to take a break from all the earmarks. Tops among the big spenders on earmarks are 2 Dems, Senator Byrd and Congressman Murtha. Nancy Pelosi spends money like a drunken sailor on her travels. So why not give the Repubs a chance. And to qualify the Drunken Sailor remark, I am retired USN.

I share your doubts about the Republicans. They may or may not keep their pledges (of low taxes). And sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

I don't have any doubts about the Democrats, though. They shall tax us to death every single time they have a chance to. You may bet your house on it.

And that is a huge difference.

The above mentioned Republicans are really RINO'S, Arnold, Miit,John McCain etc. Voters from now on should carefully select a canidate who has a true Conservative record and not go for the Establishment Republican who seems to always be Democrat Lite. There must be STARK differences between canidates. Arnold and Mitt have always Hob Nobed with Democrats, so thats what your going to get. A watered down Republican who agree's with a lot of the Democrat agenda. Voters need to be very aware & informed of who's running and their record. Only by becoming informed voters can we end the cycle of of Vote For Me " and then they run up the debt or go for the disasterous Green agenda. Republicans have a huge chance to regain the voters trust by following the Conservative aganda, but they need to prove by their actions.
