StevefromSacto has been working so hard to comment on every article and attack the positions he finds disagreeable…or more accurately, to attack any idea that maybe government doesn’t have all the answers and tax and spend won’t solve all our problems. Well Steve, congrats on taking your attacks to the silly extreme. You’re sad attempt to somehow connect those opposed to an unrestrained government to physical attacks on an individual in Vallejo is, um, at least creative.

Do you have any evidence that teabaggers and anti-union people were involved in this horrible incident? Stories suggest it was teens from a local high school and that the man was robbed. Perhaps you are just trying to use this incident to advance your agenda.

This is just stupid. California should NOT get into ever closer micro-management of local issues. If Harris thinks this approach will win the election, all I can say is I hope she has retained her day job.

Hey, guys, sorry to interrupt, but here’s some more breaking news from KCRA-TV. I assume the “crowd” mentioned in the article included Tea Baggers and anti-public employee zealots.

VALLEJO, Calif. — A Vallejo city worker has been hospitalized after he was attacked and robbed by a group of people while a crowd looked on.

Police said the 46-year-old man, who has not been identified, was assaulted around 3:20 p.m. Monday near Vallejo High School after getting into a confrontation over rocks thrown at his backhoe.

Sgt. Herman Robinson said two or three teens hit the man, and stole his wallet while he was on the ground.

The attack was captured by a surveillance camera at a nearby gas station.

It’s unclear whether the assailants, who remain at large, were students at the high school. But Robinson said students may have been among the bystanders.

The victim suffered broken bones and was taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo. His condition was not released.
