Zonies to boycott Cal?

I’ve[1] been saying [2]all along [3]that California threats to boycott Arizona over the Zonies’ immigration law are a massive joke. Now I’m really cracking up.

Now Arizona is threatening to cut off the electricity they send to California. (Or “electricicle” as Eva Gabor[4] used to purr on “Green Acres[5].” Can we make Hungary a state?):

An Arizona utility commissioner said he’s willing to pull the plug on Los Angeles if the city goes through with a boycott of his state.

In a letter to the city of LA, a member of Arizona’s power commission said he would ask Arizona utility companies to cut off the power supply to Los Angeles. LA gets about 25 percent of its power from Arizona.

The reason L.A. and the rest of California get so much power from Arizona, Nevada, Washington state, etc. is because California’s government is run by human-hating, anti-power, anti-electricity enviro-Stalinists. And our greedy private electricity monopolies are almost as bad.

Just a decade ago, the state suffered rolling blackouts because of public and private malfeasance. Nothing has been fixed since then, only covered over with electrical tape that’s now shorting out.  We don’t have enough power because not enough power production has been built here.

Boycotts of one area of America against another go against the very principle of the United States being a unified country. If you don’t like what Arizona is doing, take it up in Washington, D.C. If you don’t like what answer you get there, then secede and form your own country, the way the 13 colonies seceded from Great Britain in 1776.

The Zonies should shut off L.A.’s power for 10 minutes just for fun.
