Once again I am grateful that CalWatchDog is there to publish stories I am not finding elsewhere. This play-by-play tale of a taxpayer-financed geothermal boondoggle (for private benefit) should be the final wake-up call for any Californian who still harbors fantasies about the "magic" of green energy. The more we are told about the specifics of such projects the more we are unable to ignore that the reality of green energy simply DOES NOT match the fantasy. We must stop throwing good money after bad to subsidize these unsustainable and scandalously expensive "green" government projects.

Jerry Brown is the perfect Democratic candidate for these times. His prior governorship never let a crisis go to waste or let simple math get in the way of any crackpot idea. In other words, he was "Obama" before Obama.
