I have never heard the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association complain one whit about the prison building industry and the lock-em-up-and-throw-away-the-key approach to law enforcement, both of which have cost billions of unnecessary tax dollars.

But now, all of a sudden, we can’t get needed law enforcement and fire personnel?

The “crime wave” in State parks is akin to the “crime wave” of moving violations documented through citations. All of which just means MORE MONEY from the rule breakers and taxpayers – sometimes one and the same.

I figured this was the case (exaggerating ‘crime’ to get $$$) – ‘we’ always fall for the ‘long sad story’, don’t we? So one needed to be told. I hadn’t recalled any ‘campground’ headlines in recent YEARS!! was my first clue.

We just need to get used to the idea that if you want to have fun in a State Park, you’ll just need to raise your hand and get a hall pass first!! (unless you want a ticket!!) 😀

Why do government funded agencies always declare a disaster or catastrophe will occur if they don’t get more money?
these agencies love to use the If A then B(ad) which is a non sequitur/fallacious logic. If the government doesn’t hire more park rangers, then visitors to the park will get drunk/high, destroy property and assault the bears, not.

Good job Steve. Unfortunately the union school system and colleges have destroyed any critical thinking skills of to many people. They need someone to point out the obvious flaws in a newspaper article written for the masses, with a pro-union slant.

I now have a saying about California: Whatever you legally do today will become illegal in California, it’s just a matter of time.
