Killer Cop Demands Workers Comp!

Steven Greenhut: An Illinois cop who killed two sisters while he was driving 126 mph and chatting with his girlfriend on his cell phone now wants workers comp: http://abcnews.go.com/Business/illinois-killer-cop-workers-comp/story?id=11738010&page=1[1]

Obviously, the protections police officers receive emboldens them to act in a reckless manner, which no doubt leads to additional death and destruction. They kill people and get lesser sentences than non-cops who merely were caught with a DUI.

Is it too much to ask for higher standards and accountability for officers who carelessly destroy other people’s lives?
