As one of the initial Bell-ringers on this scam, I have watched a number of 'organizations'forming on the peninsula, and the truth is being squeezed out faster & faster daily, as more and more groups are weighing in on this farcical boondogle....It has become very obvious that a number of local & national REITs' are pushing this, since there has been NO Comments from the:
Residential or Commercial real estate industry, as to the destruction that HSR would cause in the counties of San Mateo & Santa Clara.....Imagine .....no criticism about the destruction of home values within one mile of the tracks. The commercial brokers are waiting for the opportunities to rezone all of that land within one mile (or more) of the tracks, from residential and low intensity commercial, to high-rise, high intensity commercial, & residential.....Just think of the opportunity to CREATE ANOTHER "MANHATTEN" island on the San Francisco PENINSULA.... The Feinstein
& Blum families have found the key to UNFATHOMABLE WEALTH , without DIRTYING THEIR HANDS. Does Jerry have sufficient backbone to cancel the HSR>>>>How about a RECALL OF ALL OF THE ELECTED POLITICOS ON THE PENINSULA who continue to support this unconscionable travesty. I am giving the Governor one year to say NO MAS!!
