This is a huge slap in the face to the employees of the Trial Courts. The CCMS system has been fraught with set backs since it's inception in 2004. I know this as I was placed on the project when it was first conceived. While the trial court employees have been mandated to take furlough days, and pay for "mandatory" time off in order to balance their courts budgets, the AOC, Judicial Council, and top executives have all received raises, while the workers bees pay has been cut, and the cost of living has skyrocketed. To take away the Trial Courts monies to shore up this albatross is a disgrace to ALL the trial courts of the State of California, especially since the State Legislature mandated in their last budge session, that the AOC take monies from the CCMS project to shore up the infrastructure of the Trial Courts. Has that happened?? NO, we receive more pay cuts and furlough days, we no cost of living raises what so ever!

Jerry Brown, are you listening to what is happening to our Justice System???

CCMS is costing California 1.3 billion to support about 20,000 employees. That works out to about 65 thousand per employee. What ROI analysis could cost-justify that proposal? Had I gone to my boss to propose such a system at that cost, he would have physically thrown me out of his office, and probably fired me.
