You explained the abuses of redevelopment superbly. I was infuriated too when the state bond measure passed that would spend, I believe, something like $3 billion on embryonic stem cell research. Our state finances were already in trouble when that thing passed. A fiscal and moral outrage. I wish any unspent monies from this and all other state bond measures could be rebated back to us. Don’t get me started on AB 32….GRRRR!!!
