Well Eddy,

If you knew the first thing about READING, you would have noticed that pesky little word "... more" that was positioned right in front of the word "Liberal", which means the author was simply stating that the PPIC was "MORE Liberal" by comparison to the previously mentioned source of information.

I cant say that I am suprised by your disregard for key words in a sentence since you are probably used to reading & regurgitating "Reports" & "Studies" that consist of misleading/false information that has been cherry picked in order to attempt to "Prove" a false or highly debated topic or to "Justify" a disasterous regulation that was created using BS information.

Despite your lack of attention to detail or reading comprehension skills, I am sure Katy and the rest of the Cal Watchdog contributers appreciate your "Reporting Lesson"/ Ad Hominem attack. Keep it up!

Wow. This blog reads like a high school book report. I would think if you guys want to convince yourselves that the big bad evil government is the source of all your problems, you would at least prefer reading someone who can make a coherent case (or in this case, knew the first thing about reporting).

PPIC is liberal? What a joke. Republicans cite the results of PPIC all the time, it is widely respected on both sides of the isle. Giving some old guy who takes random calls from businesses equal weight to a highly respected organization like PPIC is absurd, and 10 minutes actually covering California politics would tell you that.

I refer to California simply as "The Land of the Damned" because you're damned if you do, damned if you don't. California has so many contradicting laws that it is possible for every citizen, dead or alive, to break a law every day.

My parents brought me and my five siblings to California in 1955 from the plains of North Dakota for what was suppose to be a better life with more opportunities. All went well for us for some 40 plus years, but in more recent years things have not gone as well, with the economic downturn and the long reach of our government in this state. Now my former home state isn't looking so bad, even with the miserable winters. California's unemployment rate of well over 12 percent, compared to something like 4 percent in North Dakota is very telling of what is happening here. I have one child that left this beautiful climate for a much colder one and so far loves it. My other child may well stay here and fight it out, but I don't think my two grandchildren will have the opportunities that I once had in this state, unless things begin to change very soon. I see young friends of my children leaving California as well and that doesn't bode well for the future. Unfortunately, "go east young man", may be the only alternative for many young folks if things don't change dramatically and soon.
