They are overcrowding California schools and overburdening government resources that are supposed to be serving the needs of Americans–real Americans.

On such outsource is leasing facilities instead of owning and building.

Many of the San Diego city “leaders” were pushing hard for construction of a new downtown high rise city hall. However their justifications of savings quickly evaporated when the fine print revealed wildly overstated prevailing rental rates.

The city could drastically reduce their housing costs by leasing existing space. However, leasing privately owned existing space does not make for nice ribbon cuttings or plaques in honor to our wise overlords.

Government is evil, end of story.
