This is just wrong. There is absolutely no reason these illegal or undocumented aliens deserve financial aide. What exactly have they contributed to our society. They are not legal residents so they cant work and pay into our tax system, neither can their parents. The problem with california is we are too leinient to just give give give money to undeserving individuals. People need to earn their money and earn their financial aide. It is on the parents of these student to pay for their college. Maybe they should be using the money they made from cash paying jobs that should have went to taxes and save it in a coffee can for when their children wanted a higher education. I cant get any financial aide because my parents make too much money and pay too much taxes. It isnt racist , it is unjust for these ILLEGALS to recieve any sort of government aide. america and california in general are giving the image of come here and we will take care of you, no job no money, no problem, you will be taken care of.. what a shame

This is simply idiotic. These students deserve nothing but the best. There are illegal students that take advantage of public education and graduate top of their class unlike some legal students. It’s not fair that our nation gives TAXPAYERS money to women who have kids just to get food stamps or welfare because they’re too lazy to go find a job. The Constitution clearly states “all men are created equally.” Although they’re breaking a federal law it’s not a deadly crime or anything like that. Just like Cedillo tried to say, everyone’s ancestors were immigrants. From my knowledge I know that the only people that deserve full rights in this country are the Native Americans other than that NO ONE else. Whether a person is documented or undocumented should not be an obstacle for someone who wants to obtain an education to be someone in this miserable life. So all you obnoxious, close minded people get your facts straight before you speak, because Karma will get you back for being racist. The only people being treated like crap are the Hispanics when there are other ethnicity groups involved. Whether you like it or not this people live in our community & without them a lot of the jobs No American wants to do will not get done. & something extra for all you people that like to talk about just taxes ILLEGAL PEOPLE ARE ABLE TO DO THEIR TAXES & ABOUT HALF OF THEM DO THEIR TAXES.

now I understand why California is in such a bad shape. Those illegals after breaking the law, and getting 13 years of FREE education, take these money from LEGAL students, whose families pay taxes. The fund has only so much money in it, and giving some of it to the illegals, means that OUR kids, black, white and yes, Hispanic will have less. And after graduating, and being still ILLEGAL, how are they supposed to work?? ow, I get it!!!. after giving them premium education for free, we will have to legalize them, otherwise it will all go to waste!! Try Mexico, and see how far you will get if you are in the country illegally there!!

The problem with people wanting to send these children back to their country, is that you’d be sending most back to be homeless in a land that they don’t know and a place that may not speak the language. These children have established a residency of sorts by attending our schools and if they can’t or won’t return, then all able bodied residents must contribute to the welfare of the state. Since most colleges/universities don’t have an open admission policy, these young people would have to qualify like everyone else and therefore will not be taking the place of a “rightful” citizen.

Let these children return to their home country and attend college there and then they can work in that country to change the culture from where they came from. I do not want my tax dollars going to undocumented people, whether for welfare, education or anything else. Our hospital are in trouble because of all these people who go to emergency room and do not pay anything, so you and I end up paying. Our American citizens cannot get into some of these classes because they have been filled with illegals. Very sad indeed. These politicial will do anything for votes. Enough is enough.

The number of students admitted to California Universities and colleges is limited. Every undocumented alien student who is encouraged to attend because he/she received financial aid/subsidized tuition is taking the place of an American or legal alien student. They are also taking taxpayer money that could be better spent to aid U.S. citizens and legal residents. Why waste the money on undocumented aliens who cannot work here, who will not benefit our society by becoming educated, most of whom will not be able to use their education because they cannot be licensed, certificated in their chosen profession. Plus most of their parents paid little or no taxes and contributed less to our economy than they received in benefits.

It is a tragedy that these young people have to suffer for the sins of their parents. But U.S. taxpayers, citizens and students are not responsible to “make it up to them” for the horrible wrong that these young undocumented aliens suffered at the hands of their illegal alien parents. Their illegal alien parents are the only ones to blame for their unfortunate situation. Punish the parents.

everyone deserves the right to get an education
