I can see it now though, everyone who voted for this will be branded “soft on crime”.

Even just setting aside the fact that it costs way to much to keep someone incarcerated, the whole system is nuts. I like these changes and given a chance they should do us the most good. !!!

The major cost of keeping prisoners are the numbers of guards so if we release prisoners will we fire guards and actually realize a savings from that action or will it all be on paper?
