Poor Dean Chemerinsky, "Raise Taxes, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY"

I thought liberals felt for the poor. In California, the poor pay higher prices for all consumer goods because of anti-business legislation PLUS they pay a 10% tax on top of all the mess.

A true liberal would cut government: start with public employee union salaries; next cut bureaucracy, especially at the UC system; close entire departments; close the UCI Law School, we don't need more parasites trained by the likes of Chemerinsky; cancel the wasted money on embryonic stem cell research (millions spent, nothing discovered); fix the roads with non-union crews to get more for our money.

Cut the anti-business taxes and regulations to invite our hardest working entrepreneurs back to the "Golden (remember?) State." Come on, no one wants to live in Texas!

Maybe Governor Moonbeam will run the state so far into the ditch that we will elect a conservative legislature and Tom McClintock. We can save our State!

While recalling Brown may seem like a good answer to California’s problems, it is not. Brown is symbolic of the Republican’s failure to distinguish themselves as unique problem solvers who are willing to make hard decisions.
Brown was the “I am not Schwarzenegger” candidate and made Whitman into Schwarzenegger II. The Republicans must show themselves not to be “moderates” as that ties them back to the “moderate” Schwarzenegger.
Yes, if the Republican’s start taking stands on issues and not bending, they may lose in the short-term, but if they continue to moderate, they will continue to lose in the long term. The Republicans are seen as sheep following what the Democrats and the media want them to do. To change this they need to start leading and hold tough. Brown is not the problem, the lack of true Republican leadership is. A recall election will not change this fact.
