The public utilities do not allow homeowner&#039;s solar systems to be oversized and thus generate excess power that they could reap a windfall in reverse metering from.  But it does allow commercial wind and solar farm developers to reap a profit, with huge subsidies to boot. Of course you could possibly game this system. Buy an overly large home. Have a solar system put on the roof sized to the number of rooms in the house. Only live in half or two thirds of the rooms. An instant money maker.]]></description>
