The problem is not revenue, it’s cost. Public employees make, on average, twice as much in pay and benefits as private sector workers. Cut their pay, balance the budget. Unfortunately, their unions control our politicians, so we’re out of luck. We exist under union tyranny. The democratic process in California is a travesty, because government workers, through their unions who buy our politicians, took over the government.

The Wall Street Journal did a story about Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and Ca. pols trip to Texas. 70 businesses have left Ca so far this year-14 moved to Texas. Weekly average last year of business departures 3.9- this year 4.7- Keep on spending and taxing in Ca nobody will be left here but crooked pols, welfare grabbers and Illegals. How much of a tax base will that be?
