I am one of 31,487 American scientists, a Geological Engineer for over half a century, who consider fear of CO2 global warming, the genesis of AB 32 for example, as a scam by those who would benefit financially from billions of dollars planned for CO2 reduction. On the net see Global Warming Petition Project.

At the end of the Ice Age 20,000 years ago glaciers began to melt and global warming began. Changes in the earth’s temperature since have been sporadic. In the middle-ages a 300-year warming period occurred. In the 1600s, the Little Ice Age slowed warming down for centuries. Mountain glaciers increased prior to the 20th century. These changes occurred before the first internal combustion engine was made. Accusations are that CO2 increase creates global warming. It is increasing, yet NASA announced 2008 global surface temperatures were cooler than 2007, the coolest since 2000. U.S. temperatures cooled in five of the last seven decades while CO2 levels increased steadily. The U.S. National Climate Data Center stated 2008 temperatures in the USA were below the 115-year average for most of the country. NOAA stated October 2009 temperatures were the third coldest in 115 years. To think mankind can control the climate is a farce.

There are now probably well over 10000 papers debunking the man-made CO2 global warming hoax. The latest, which in my opinion nailed the coffin shut on this global hoax, was by Timothy Curtin, "Econometrics and the Science of Climate Change". You can google it. Curtin nails the coffin shut and then sinks it with Osama bin Laden and the fishes.

The problem that we taxpayers have is that the politicians and bureaucrats we are paying studiously avoid reading the handwriting on the wall that foretells the end of their bureaucracies and the green-fleecing of the public. Classic ostrich heads in the sand.

There are three outputs from the combustion equation, as noted by Professor Curbin: CO2, water vapor, and steam. Further, Turbin's regression analyses indicate that the overwhelming cause of climate change at stations across the USA (World's densest climate network) is due to water vapor not CO2. Finally he shows the other side of the CO2 factor - the highly beneficial effect on vegetation and thus food production.

And as the CO2 coffin sinks, new results foretell a mini-ice age coming due to decrease in sunspot activity (American Thinker 6/15/2011, "A Mini-ice age on the way?", by Rick Moran.

I would think the teenagers in high school today could see through the EPA/CARB/energy commission and Dept of Education propaganda, based on their own life experience. If they are 15, they have never experienced any global warming, even according to NASA. Indeed, that may apply even if you are up to age 40, since much of the so-called warming of the last decade of XX century was due to criminal data manipulation and loss of thousands of cold weather stations from the global data base when the Soviet Union fell.

The handwriting IS on the wall dear CARB, dear EPA, and dear Fed and State Energy bureaucrats, and dear green-fleecers (you know who you are). You will need to start polishing those resumes. As Lincoln said, you can't fool all of us all the time.

Oh come on, AB 32 is absolutely going to be a success. This much regulation of industry will surely drive away enough productive enterprise and population that getting California back to 1990 emissions levels by 2020 should be easy. As everyone in Sacramento keeps telling us, private industry is only getting in the way of our economy recovery.

If we do not stop AB32, it will kill the California economy, and real estate values will fall to less than half of current levels! Did anyone else here read the letter in the Orange County Register from the electronics manufacturer who's accountant told him that AB 32 would cost him as much as his entire payroll (30-some people with above average pay)? He left for another state.

AB32 will be stopped, but when? Just before it take effect? Just after? Long after (10 plus years), when the economy has been destroyed and anyone with any money has left?
