Well lets see, from your example above, if Grant was holding a gun in a police officers back while he lay on the ground……..well hell yes he would have been a cop killer…..bad example! As for the shooting, the subject was resisting officers, he was belligerent, the cops were surrounded by a mob of people who were threatening officers and the officer made a fatal mistake. Involuntary Manslaughter is what you have, nothing more, nothing less…..yes his sentence was short….but he is no murderer.
