Despite the expiration of the vehicle registration fee increase, my car registration fee cost went up this year(I just received my renewal in the mail yesterday almost two months after it should have been sent out). So how does that work?

Were are the email addresses of Brown? where is the fax numbers? where are the phone numbers the list the pastors the information for people to call the governor to stop him from signing this bill.

You don’t really think that we are going to see “additional ‘revenues’ pumping up the economy and expanding the tax base” do you? There may be a little tick, but people are going to think, “…oh wow, now that I don’t have to pay my vehicle licensing fee at the old inflated rate, I’m gonna go out on a shopping spree!” Consumer confidence is in the toilet, people are holding onto their money and staying put.

It is extremely troubling to watch our elected legislators play these games:
Republican vs. Democrat on issues where our tax dollars are going to benefit one
or another special interest.

I say… put them in a room together, bread and water, and don’t let them out
until they thrash out the differences and come up with realistic solutions…
special interests be damned.

They have a state to run here, and the voting public is getting fed up.
