I read today that the Commission for Judicial Performance has recommended that an OC Superior Court Judge be removed from the bench for 9 counts of fixing tickets for relatives and friends. He must have really stepped on some political toes in his career for that to happen. The State of California sanctions ticket fixing with their confidential license plate program. If you are in public safety you and your family are basically immune from traffic tickets. As soon as the cop pulls you over for a traffic violation and runs your plate it comes back 'confidential' - and you get the wink and a nod. It would be very easy for the DMV to substantiate it by doing a study on the per capita rate of tickets - comparing the one million confidential license plate holders with the general population. The number of citations given to those with confidential plates would be miniscule. That's why you would never see DMV conduct such a study. It would shine a light on the scam.

There should be a Commission for Elected Political Performance as well. Crimes committed by elected politicians that reflect on moral character - LIKE STEALING $2400 WORTH OF CLOTHES FROM A RETAIL STORE - should be reviewed by such a Commission too. Elected superior court judges are subject to such scrutiny. Why shouldn't elected politicians?

But you would never see that happen. Why? Crooks protect other crooks. That's why.

Eyeamok - I addressed the Tumor Defense in my last story 'Hayashi's Tumor Defense' - here is the link in case you missed it: http://www.calwatchdog.com/2012/01/07/hayashis-tumor-defense/

"But the tumor defense was not used in court yesterday, when Hayashi pleaded no contest to the reduced charges. The court was given nothing indicating that Hayashi had or has a brain tumor."

First things first, the Tumor Defense WAS NOT BROUGHT UP IN COURT, it was only spoken to the Press AFTER THE GUILTY plea. There was never ANY DISCUSSION of MEDICAL problems in this case. She is a Lying Scumbag that belongs in PRISON , and so does this Spokesman for making DELIBERATE FALSE CLAIMS about an Official caught REDHANDED., in fact her husband the Scumbag Lawyer in a dress should have already been fired and awaiting trial for his role in this Conspiracy to Commit Grand Theft against Department Stores. If there is anyone that actually believes the Judge did not know about this is just plain STUPID. The moron judge that handed down this sentence should also be removed for his role in this CONSPIRACY. They are all covering for each other.

The fact is she plead out and is now a convicted criminal. If she carried the items out of the store by mistake with no intent to commit grand theft - why didn't she take her case before a jury? A jury certainly wouldn't punish a shopper who made an innocent mistake.

But then the reason security was watching her was because a store clerk suspected her of stealing a dress the week before??? hmmm.

And what exactly did the store video camera show???

Naturally the damage control people are crawling out of the woodwork.

One thing I know is that someone who is convicted of theft should not be allowed to remain in a position of public trust and help decide what laws everyone else must obey.

That is a failure of the system. An intentional failure.
