This article is only describing basically the long term tax increment bond debts. The total debts – contractural & loans to cities, counties, developers etc., are over $100 Billion dollars. Socialist California is the home of crony capitalist statist economics. Which if you think about it is the ordinary and usual way socialism goes to work in the good ol USA. Nice to see an expose’ of these guys tactics and boondoggles.

The CRA have created real estate bubbles as developers looked to the CRA to bail them out of all bad decisions, like funneling millions of dollars into the pockets o the developers. Hollywood is due for a huge crash in commercial real estate and it is now trying to dupe the Chinese into buying these properties at grossly inflated prices before the Chinese discover that it is all hype and illusion.
