It’s my opinion, I am not a prophet or the son of a prophet so you can rest assured that I do not have any special insight. But here’s my reasoning.

1) I was in Hawaii on Sept. 11, 2001. After the attacks we could not get off the islands for over a week. You had to be authorized to leave sooner.

2) I saw what happened and read eye witness testimony about people who tried to get out of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and could not, all lines of travel were closed up, including roads.

3) I have read about what happened in Russia just as communism was taking over, all the main roads contained checkpoints, and travel was prohibited out of specific areas without permission. I have read personal testimonies of several family’s who narrowly escaped to China, some on horse, others on foot. I believe the same kind of things happened in Germany when the Third Reich came to power.

4) Environmentalism seems to be trying to get us out of our cars, off the land, and into the cities. Walking, riding a bike, public transit. I have talked with many of these people and they think that they are doing the right thing to save us. As the saying goes, scratch the green and there is red underneath.

5) And last but not the least. These testimonies were written by a woman around 100 or more years ago, and I believe she was given prophetic insight. I could not find all the quotes I was looking for, but notice the illusion to our way being “hedging up.”

“The words were spoken to me with impelling power: Wake up the
watchmen to carry the word of warning to every city in America. Build
up the waste places. The righteous judgments of God, with their weight
of final decision, are coming upon the land. Do not hover over the
churches to repeat over and over again the same truths to the people,
while the cities are left in ignorance and sin, unwarned and unlabored
for. Soon the way will be hedged up and these cities will be closed to
the gospel message. Wake up the church members that they may unite in
doing a definite and self-denying work.”

“The passage from place to place to spread the truth will soon be
hedged with dangers on the right hand and on the left. Everything will
be placed to obstruct our way, so we shall not be able to do that which
is possible now.” “We must look our work fairly in the face, and
advance as fast as possible in aggressive warfare. . . . We have
warnings now which we may give, a work now which we may do, but soon it
will be more difficult than we can imagine.”
