Were any of the GOP primary candidates the choice of the people? Nope. Same old cast of handpicked loser clowns that are tossed at you every 4 years then you are told to choose one. They call it ‘democracy’. The fact that Gingrich was even a contender makes a mockery of the whole system. And once again in November you will be forced to vote for the lesser of two more evils for the highest office in the land. We saw that Obama = Bush. Even if Mitt is elected (which he won’t be): Mitt = Obama. Oh, both will tell you bald-faced willful lies during the campaign (see Obama – 2008). Willful lies that neither would be held accountable for. The scam sold you a group of weak-kneed Republicans pushing Obama over the finish line for another 4 years. And if you think Obama rewarded financial crime, violated the constitution (multiple times) and took away your civil liberties from 2009-2012 just wait until he comes back as a lame duck President. Count on it.

Good analysis, except Obama is likely to be reelected. 1. It is very hard to defeat an incumbent president, even with the current economy — and more voters still blame Bush, rather than Obama, for that. 2. Obama is better liked than Romney, and most voters will see Obama as caring more about their problems. 3. Leave it to the Republicans to nominate, in the middle of the biggest recession since the Depression, a super-rich low-tax-paying investment banker from a company renowned for firing people. Amazing. 4. The biggest rap against Obama in 2008 was that he lacked experience; that card cannot be played again, because a one-term president has far more experience than a one-term governor. 5. There are many Republicans who did not run this year, but who see themselves running in 2016 (after Romney loses): Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, etc. They will help Romney, but they are hardly going to go to the mat for him. Their chance of winning in 2016 is greatly magnified if Obama is concluding his second term then.
