Yep. You’re absolutely correct, Rex. Having these political misfits overseeing the financial health of our state and nation is like having the Mafia overseeing the operations of the FBI. We seem to be on a slow steady path to ‘Orwell’s 1984’. They’ve taken a beautiful nation with abundant means and turned us into something I barely recognize anymore.

Beelz, we live in a banana republic, we must accept that. WHomever is giving the most money to the elected leaders are the ones getting paid back 10,000 to 1.

Big Business and public unions are destroying the state and country. I know Browns pension sales tax will lose, but I expect tons of “fees” to go up after that-I do not ever expect public comp to change until the system melts down completely.

They had Ronnie Raygun’s son on TV today talking about a part time legislature, which is nuts I think, but he did make a good point-the average inmate cost today is MORE than the median family income in this state, one inmate costs more than the average FAMILY brings home in pay.

There are really no consequences for lying anymore. Today it is routine for politicians, high-level appointees, government agencies and corporate officials to lie – sometimes even under sworn oath. Lying has become an art. There is no shame in lying. Even when one is caught red handed. It is only a lesson learned to improve one’s skill in the art of lying. Like your parents used to tell you “If at first you don’t succeed try try again”. The best liar wins!

And nobody seems to care.
