Prop 28 is a scam, written to fool voters — who support term limits by a large majority — into thinking they are strengthening term limits when they would be weakening them. Term limits, like the so-called part-time legislature, is an excuse for lazy voters to shirk their responsibility. Worse, it helps guarantee that the only people with real knowledge of how the system works (knowledge is power) are bureaucrats and special interest lobbyists. That should be the LAST thing we want.

Good article. Why redistrict to create competitive districts with the Right hand and with the Left hand take it all away with Prop 28? Prop 28 is not just a “political thriller” but a magic show.
