The little guy has always taken it in the butt. That’s no surprise. Look, wages have remained stagnant for over a decade while prices have more than doubled. Yet the oligarchs have made out like bandits since 2006.

But once they lose control of these manipulated and gamed investment markets and the nation involuntarily deleverages the social upheaval will curl the hair on the backs of your necks. You think we’re too big for that? That’s fine. Go ahead and double down on the S&P then.

You can’t foment growth in an economy by deficit spending of over $1T annually on a continual basis without an eventual implosion. For every increase of one percent in the interest rate it takes about $100B more to service the national debt. The CBO says the 10 year note will increase from 2.3% to 5% by the end of the decade. BS. That’s wildly optimistic. If the Fed rate exceeds 8% we’re done. The other superpowers are already meeting to discuss alternatives for a global reserve currency.
