What kind of a guy would jump the bones of the housemaid on the wife's bed, impregnate her and then try to play the role of Mr. Family Values before the public? I really feel sorry for the boy he sired. Sure, he'll have all the material things in life - but what kind of a relationship has he had with his dad so far? Seriously. Secret meetings behind closed doors so the tabloids wouldn't notice the resemblence and start asking questions?

But his true colors were blatantly exposed on his last day in office when he commuted the prison sentence of Fabian Nunez' kid nearly in half after a fresh homicide conviction in San Diego. That was just a major FU to the general public as he exited his throne. Wow. That told California what Arnold was all about and what fools we were to buy his line of BS - from the very start in 2003. I voted for him too. He fooled the hell out of me. I feel like a flim flam man just suckered me out of $10,000. Who would ever buy that schweinhund's book anyway?

What do you expect from Arnold? He betrayed his wife and fathered a child by another woman, and then betrayed his illegitimate son by denying him a father? A man who will betray his wife and child will betray you. That’s Arnold’s legacy: a betrayed wife, a betrayed child, and a betrayed public.

I hear you and agree 100%, you can't trust Arnold, he will turn to which ever way the wind of public opinion blows him.......he was a disater.

The thing is he tried out of the blocks to make change, and when he got spanked-which had never happened to him before in his life- he tucked tail and ran. If he had stuck to his guns and tried his 4 initatives again he would have won all 4 and would be a hero of the poor and middle class.

I agree with what Rogue Elephant says: A man who will etray those closest to him (his wife and family) will betray us insignificant voters.

Schwarzenegger and Newt Gingrich are in the same catagory. On the other hand - Mitt Romney is still married and faithfull to his only wife.

Californians need to learn how to evaluate a politition's ACTIONS, not just snooze away and vote for what they hear.

I am shamed to admit I voted for Schwarzenegger. Didm't vote for Jerry Brown. I knew better...

Never too old to learn new tricks.

"The state media’s amazingly incompetent and biased coverage of AB 32 treats it as an open question whether forcing California businesses to pay much higher costs for energy than firms in rival states and nations will help them or hurt them"

The bought-off media is not 'incompetent'. Not by a long shot. They know exactly what they are doing. And it's not just the 'state media'. It's the entire mainstream media apparatus. The media has become an arm of the government. I could show you numerous examples. They withhold information that they don't want us to know about and shower us with information - oftentimes tainted and reengineered - that favors the ruling establishment. It's strikingly clear not only in the political news - but on social matters and current events as well. And it's not just the so-called 'liberal media' either. It's soup to nuts. A profession that once was a ally of liberty has become quite the opposite.

I wish I could find that video of Arnold's first appearance on the Jay Leno Show as a gubernatorial candidate way back when. They must have removed it permanently. It's not even on youtube. It only confirms what a horrendous liar and fraud that he truly is. I remember when he told us that he was going to 'blow up the boxes' and that he was going to be a champion for the people and that he had plenty of money and couldn't be bought-off. :D

No wonder the state and the nation has all but lost total faith in our political system. Look at the approval ratings. These people can lie with immunity. The system protects them. They can take your money and your votes and lie to you with a straight face and get away with it. What would happen to you in a business deal if you took somebody's money contingent on promises made - and you reneged on your promises? What would happen to you?

Think about it.
