Sooner or later Uncle Sugar’s mammary glands are going to run dry. Then there will be a foot-stomping, turning blue tantrum from Little Julia that you won’t believe. Trust me. That day is coming. I don’t know who’s going to get screwed first or the worst. If they tighten down the screws too much on the welfare crowd there will be blood flowing in the gutters I’m afraid. If they go after the public unions the courts will be operating 24/7 trying to untangle the mess. If they take more from the productive middle class I think there will be a revolt – to what scale I don’t know. If they go after the uber-rich they will move more of their money to off-shore secret accounts or just relocate to other lands. All I know is that judgment day is coming. And IMO it’s not far off in relative space and time. The long-legged mac daddy thinks he can continue to drive GDP through borrowing and spending – and just pile more and more onto the national deficit without consequences. And it’s only a matter of time before Uncle Ben at the Federal Reserve puts Quantitative Easing III into action – which will drive consumer prices through the roof. Look at gasoline prices. Back up to $4.40/gal for regular despite a barrel of oil coming down in price. We’re in big, big trouble. Julia better get a belly full now cuz sucking on Uncle Sugar’s teat won’t work as we move forward.
