Outrageous salaries are only tip of the proverbial iceberg. University presidents receive free houses, car subsidy, $100,000 relocation fee, personal assistant, and many other perks. In reality, they annually earn $500,000 - $600,000, while budgets are being cut and student fees raised. Just another example of the hypocrisy that permeates politics in California. As with other State agencies, California's universities and colleges have been hijacked by white-collar criminals.

I second Wehr's opinion- does seem to be a cozy fund for the CSU presidents. The incoming president of San Jose State votes and sits on the foundation board that approves members- then he substantially increases his salary within his first year??? On top of his free home and car allowance? Do donors really give their hard-earned money to a public educational institution to go to a president's bloated salary instead of educational instruction??

I noticed that Disneyland is raising it's one-day, one-park pass to $87. I've gone there for the last time. You'd have to be a Cal State Foundation member or trustee to be able to afford it. Sorry, Mickey. You're on your own, little fella. We're all broke.

This is like Dracula sitting on the Foundation that decides whether he has access to the local blood bank reserves. And when you examine the necks of all the other Foundation members in Transylvania - you notice that they have bite mark scars on their necks.

There is one truism about the United States of America these days:

If a system exists, it will be gamed.
