It’s not his property specifically I was referring to, but rather his decision to plant roots for the future here in California. If he’s elected, he’s certainly not going to make decisions that turn his chosen retirement state into a smoking crater. He will also want things like a clean beach, decent streets, and public safety services to assist the Secret Service if he’s elected.

What do you think would happen to property values in Newport or Laguna or La Jolla if California imploded and could no longer support basic public services? That’s why if it becomes necessary to support California with a federal bailout, you can count on Mitt supporting it when he’s President.

On the other hand, if Obama is reelected – as most serious observers still believe is likely – California will also be well treated if and when it becomes necessary to obtain federal assistance with a bailout.

Basically, it’s lining up to be a win-win for California’s future with either candidate. Too bad neither of them will support the financial and social apocalypse you pray for.

If Romney was going to build a Western White House where do you think he would construct it, Skippy??? In the hood of East San Diego??? Do you think his neighborhood would go to hell if the economy went south or a bunch of illegal gangbangers would move in next door??? heh. Don’t you understand that high end properties at Romney’s level lose little, if any, value in economic recessions??? What kind of price would the former Western White House garner on the market, Skippy? Go price the homes on Newport Coast and check out what those prices were prior to the 2008 meltdown. I think they’ve actually gone up in value. Do you think Romney would be scared to go outside at night and look at the ocean with literally a standing army surrounding the perimeter???
