That’s crazy how the station entrance was just recently “inexplicably changed” and moved because it would help a well connected Obama supporter. Its not like they were considering several different alignment options, despite what it may say on page 114 of an early analysis report (http://www.metro.net/projects_studies/westside/images/fia_screening_report.pdf) from June 2008.

It is sad to see how this article parrots the Beverly Hills generated conspiracy theory about JMB Realty and its donations. The subway station site wasn’t “inexplicably” changed. The Constellation Boulevard site yields better ridership, isn’t located on an active fault line, and makes more sense location-wise than the Beverly Hills golf course station. Beverly Hill’s arguments against the Constellation Boulevard station have shifted repeatedly and have been fueled throughout by hysterics and fear-mongering. Sorry that it may not fit neatly into the “David vs. Goliath” narrative of this article, but Beverly Hills is on the wrong side of this battle.
