Just slightly different–we would have had a 6-3 decision instead of a 5-4. Give Bush credit for nominating Samuel Alito. However, he also went with Harriet Miers before the outcry against her.

Not that my vote will make the slightest difference since I live in California, but I feel stuck with having to support Romney in the hope he *might* nominate good people for the Supreme Soviet–uh–I mean, Court; whereas with the dictator we have now there is no hope whatsoever of that.

I support the Individual Mandate because it contains exemptions for the poor (see H.R. 3590 Sec. 1501). I am happy that SCOTUS declared that the Individual Mandate is constitutional, which was the correct ruling under the Taxation Clause.

However, I also support intelligence and honesty.

The Messiah is either an idiot or a liar.

The Messiah is an idiot IF he believed that the Individual Mandate was constitutional under the Commerce Clause. That argument is absurd.

The Messiah is a liar IF he knew that the Individual Mandate was unconstitutional under the Commerce Clause, he knew that the Individual Mandate was a tax, he knew that the Individual Mandate would be declared a constitutional tax under the Taxation Clause, and, accordingly, he knew that the Individual Mandate constituted a raise in taxes.

The Messiah said that he would not raise taxes.

In my opinion, based on my inferences drawn from the facts, I believe that the Messiah is a LIAR!

But John, you don’t understand. Without a federal system how would we be able to bomb innocent third world civilians to oblivion? How would we have been able to give the world nuclear weapons and show everyone how to incinerate tens of thousands of innocent civilians with them? How would we have been able to exterminate the aboriginal peoples of North America? How would we be able to send billions in military aid to dictators around the world? How would we be able to create a national government that spy’s on us, lies to us and taxes us into oblivion? How would we be able to tie our shoelaces without the D.C. overlords showing us the way? We need the federal overlords to lead us around by the nose and treat us like helpless children John!

Just look at Teddy and Queegy and U.U. and Skippy. What would they do if left to their own meager abilities? The adult world of independence, responsibility and prudence is very scary John. Peaceful and voluntary social interaction is for troglodytes. We need the stern and unyielding hand of mommy government to save us from ourselves. Don’t you understand?
