The company once employed 150 people and brought in $20M per year. Now, there are fewer than 20 employees and sales have dropped to about $5M. Thank you California.
Maglight is a fine company. Several of my previous fellow employees went to work there. Let’s keep the pressure on to keep California from destroying another part of our economy.

Maglica’s company more than meets the federal guidelines. Maglica not only manufacturers everything in California, over the years as his suppliers encountered financial difficulties, he purchased their companies in order to keep the component parts he needs available, rather than scrapping his company, or moving to China or Mexico. he could have replaced the parts suppliers with foreign parts suppliers, but worked his butt off to keep the business in the U.S.

I saw this myself at his plant. His flashlight manufacturing area is separate from the machine parts manufacturing area. he showed me the equipment he brought to CA from companies he took over. I walked his plant, which must be nearly 1 million square feet. One building was 200,000 sq ft. It’s amazing, and it is here in California, and should be honored and respected by state lawmakers.
