It is foolish to think that a few lawsuits is going to stop this train from being built. The high-speed rail is the wet dream of California democrats. California is effectively a one-party state and what the democrats want the democrats get and damn the consequences.

By their reckoning they can always justify their tax & spending by saying it’s for the children and the gullible & naive voting public will fall for it almost every time.

If Californians want to come to grips with what’s wrong with this state and where the real responsibility for the mess we’re in lays, then I have a simple but bold suggestion: Take a look in the mirror.
