The Los Angeles Times seems determined to destroy itself. I pay for a paper subscription. So I’m supposed be able to log in to their online version with a password.

I’ve just spent 20 minutes trying to do so, but can’t.

This happens almost every day. They demand a that a new password be set up almost every day. So I do it. But this time it didn’t work.

As I’ve written before[2], it’s foolish for any newspaper that doesn’t write mostly about financial news to use this business model in the first place. But to set up an impossible gate is ridiculous.

No wonder they’re still in bankruptcy.
