If the students have to have remedial math and english they need to stay in high school or go to community collages. They should not be eligible for the state system. No extenuating circumstances. If they don't pass the SAT'S, no go.

I had to have AP classes in high school, a better than average SAT, two years of a foreign language and math to get into CSUN. If you cant have students with some degree of intelligence, what on earth are they going to a university for? No wonder college grads are as dumb as door knobs now. Remedial classes???? Give me a break. Send them to a two year program and then see if they can make it. If not, they dont belong in college.

As a CSU graduate-I can tell you the Admin dorks running it don't have a clue. They create more red tape than a murder scene, 95% of their BS requirements not needed, only put into place to keep the student enrolled and so the school can keep getting funding. I would go to private school over the CSU any day of the week all things being equal.
