When every penny is accounted for the we can look at spending more. Why is it that agencies like the parks dept are threatened to be closed and yet are sitting on millions upon millions in cash. Isn’t it interesting that six major unions are have spent 6.3 million in support of this tax increase for the hippie governor. He is just like his tax and spend leader the supreme taxer himself, Obama. Let’s tax back the money and keep it where it does the most good. Keep the money out of the legislatures greedy hands and keep it in our pockets. We earn it we should spend it. And the more we spend the more the state and it’s municipalities benefit.

The tax increase may likely pass because most Kalifornia voters don’t pay taxes, they consume them via welfare.
The reason this tax hike won’t work is shown by Lebron James. One of the main reasons Lebron James chose Miami was taxes. The Lakers had a better team and lots of money and he could have had a few more rings in LA than in Miami. But Ohio, NY, LA are high tax states. King James got a ring and kept his money too.
The people who this tax increase is aimed at will, and can, do what King James has done. Take their money and their ball game elsewhere.

Living in machine politics Pennsylvania for years gives one forecasting ability……

California is full of needy people. Needy people do not own property, pay no income taxes and tend to favor union appeals. They doggedly pull the Democrat straight ballot…..the party of filling needs.

It is naive to believe budgets mean anything to these people.

Pennsylvania has been losing population for years, the roads are poor, taxes continue to rise and professional needy dig in and stay.

Union bosses are diety!

It has never ever ever changed.

There is money for everything but the taxpayer. And the message is, “pay us higher taxes or we’ll screw your kids over even worse in the public schools you already pay for.”

AB 32 and cap and trade, high speed rail, tunnels under the Delta for So Cal water, slush funds in at least 13 agencies, raises for legislative staff, luxury pensions… Democrats think that we can’t add. (fortunately I wasn’t taught new math in my public school)

Voters can add, and do understand that they are getting screwed, even if they don’t know all the details. What they do know is that any governor who would push to raise taxes in a failing economy surely must be corrupt.
