The court system is just as bad, State judges barely work 35 hours per week, but have $180K salaries, $100K benefits packages and are pretty much unaccountable for the quality of their work, with very few being disciplined. To mnake that kind of mney in a private law firm they woyld have to work at LEAST DOUBLE those hours. More like 80-90 hours per week.

As this article points out, the Administrative Office of the Courts, is completely out of control, and everyone who works in the court system knows it. The entire system is out of control.

Sooner or later the entire state is going to collapse, because the money has already ran out and the pay and comp for nearly every gov job simply won’t be able to be paid.
