Look folks, almost 90% of our tax dollars go to the Pay, benefits, perks, and pensions for the Fed, State, county, and city RAGWUS feeders. The only way to balance any budget is to cut what we are paying these parasites.

Stop with all the new ways to balance these grotesque budgets and cut where the problem starts, the individual government leach!!!!! :)

Although Ryan deserves some credit for sticking his neck out, merely having a plan isn't enough. Ryan's plan is business as usual with fantasy predictions of balanced budgets by and by. No 30 year scheme has any credibility because no future Congress can be constrained by last years plan. You can't even get these lying, thieving bastards to pass a yearly budget so a 30 year plan is a joke. The Demogoguecrats in the Senate haven't even PROPOSED a budget in 3 years! They do as they please and get perpetually re-elected by ignorant, irrational zombie voters who don't seem to care that The Obama Regime has been funded largely by ad hoc omnibus spending monstrosities rather than formal budget agreements. We have a Federal government financed by panicky, desperate last minute political gamesmanship.

As for trade wars, this is like chopping your toes off to make your shoes fit. We don't need another Smoot-Hawley tariff act. What people who call for this are really saying is that they want higher consumer prices for most goods. How does that help the little guy? How does it help our export economy (Boeing, Coca Cola, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products, etc.) ?

Consider also that our major trading partners are not helpless dolts. They have more than a few aces up their sleeves. If we erect barriers to their goods they can and will reply in kind. China for instance is a major consumer of Government Motors products and its fastest growing market. If you want to see GM go bankrupt again then place high tariffs or embargoes on Chinese goods. The Chinese will retaliate via nationalization, import quotas, high tariffs or unlicensed domestic production.

China also holds about $1.2 trillion in U.S. Government debt and Japan holds another $1.1 trillion. Imagine the havoc they could create by a sudden sell-off of that much treasury debt. They could flood the world with U.S. fiat currency, crash the dollar and cripple the treasury market in a heartbeat. Would they actually do that? It would be reckless and foolhardy to want to find out.

So long as the majority of foolish American voters believe in the leviathan Welfare/Warfare state there can be no long term solution to our problems. Most Americans now accept with very little skepticism the viability of an unsustainable system of cradle to grave handouts, subsidies and dependency. That is why the political class gives us pie-in-the-sky gimmicks instead of real reform. Real reform involves pain, sacrifice, dislocation and social turmoil which is why no establishment politician will commit career suicide by proposing it. Ron Paul's budget represents real, fundamental reform which is why it is going nowhere. Even his own party hates him. He gets smeared, marginalized, ridiculed and ignored while Tweedledumb and Tweedledee rearrange deck chairs on the U.S.S. Titanic.

The American people don't have a clue what's coming and when it hits them between the eyes they will do what the Greeks have done, they will riot in the streets like spoiled children and elect a lying socialist who makes ridiculous promises. The banksters and crony capitalists will get bailed out while the little guy gets the shaft. Oh wait a minute, we already did that, and just like in Europe, it isn't working.

I like Ryan because he has a PLAN, no oen else has NAY plan to cut the deficit. So unless they have a BETTER plan they should not knock him.

But Ryans's plan to lower taxes on billionaires sucks. he shoudl lower taxes on the 25%-90% middle class. And he should go to war with India, Chgina, Korea and other low wage labor markets- Japan too.
