First, CARB’s new auto standards will make cars more top-heavy and put them on skinnier tires, making them less stable in emergency maneuvers. (I write about this in my book Crazifornia, coming to Amazon later this month.) Now, with light pavement, not only will more slick residues stick to the roads, making them more slippery, but greatly increased glare off the lighter surfaces will decrease visibility, causing more accidents.

The editor of Wired Magazine is not a serious scientist. The studies conducted by Dr. Mark Jacobson of Stanford show that white colored building roofs lead to greater NET global warming. Further, for Los Angeles area it would mean a return to the smoggy and unhealthful 1960’s.

I would suggest you stop watching “pop” science on YouTube and actually read hard science. It is difficult to refute the science of what we know about inversion layers. Link here:
