HMMM…warehouse in CA sounds like more jobs for folks in California to me. A little tiny bit of money for the greatest state in the Union. California is the land of milk and honey and if you don’t want to pay taxes then stop your whining and move to Oregon or Florida. In my opinion, the climate of CA is totally worth 10% sales tax.

Rex, I agree this is really going to hammer Amazon sales from California. I purchase as much as possible from Amazon to avoid feeding the mindless beast in Sacramento (sorry NTHEOC, but the Socialists in this state already tax me blind to pay for illegal aliens and any other black hole they can waste my money on, so I feel ZERO guilt. Don’t be a sucker.) and I will cut way back if choices become limited and I’m being taxed too. Amazon made a deal with the devil and it’s going to hurt them.

I don’t think Amazon having warehouses in CA will save that much time on shipping. I know Amazon had a huge warehouse right across the border in Sparks and they shipped stuff out of there at night.

So now Caulifornians (as Ahnode sez) will have to spend 7.25 to around 10% more and have fewer choices as the affiliates leave.

Pay more and get less, ain’t gummit grand?

Well, the Brown Stain picked a great time: 6 weeks before he wants us to allow him to steal even more of our money.

And add in the new fire protection fee racket, the news of who knows how many bureaucracies with slush funds of tens of millions of dollars and all the other absurd news like bullet trains to nowhere and taxpayers having to fund the college education of illegal aliens and the Brown Stains bogus pension reform and voters should be damned furious.
