This is how progress-ism works. When a problem arises rather then discuss and use logic to resolve lets knee jerk it. Pass a new law and raise taxes without any regard to future implications.

My father is a Navy veteran but I am getting a little wary of the explosion in veteran’s handouts that the gov is pushing.
Seems like “progressives” have found a way to exploit American’s patriotism and gratitude towards veterans. BTW, Military service IS voluntary, after all.
This is just reinforcing the Statist pro-government bent that is in vogue now. I guess they ran out of goodies to give our “sacred” teachers so they’ve moved on to another species of government worker.
I don’t pay taxes so that government robots can shower each other with benefits.

Moonbeam has around 615 left to sign or veto. I say he vetos at most 15 more, leaving a very tired writing hand to sign all those bills.
There outa be a law that you can’t use a machine to sign for the Guv. Sheer exaustion would cause him to pick up the veto stamp after a while.
