You have some wrong information in this article. Volunters can be used in California/ The law changed a number of years ago…if you are going to be a watchdog, you should be sure to get your facts straight. Two of the three citities voters rejhcted charter citiy initiatives……you cant throw out all of the check and balances and expect it to work……

Any city ballot measure that union leaders are spending $160,000 to defeat in this busy, expensive election is worthy of the votes of the people. Obviously a city charter is a powerful weapon for taxpayers to have in this era of unrestrained debt.
