How would prop 33 affect people who lived and drove in California for a few years, moved away to a city where you don’t need a car, then move back? Any thoughts?

This is hilarious. The mercury CEO admitted today that there would be a rate hike for new customers. If this bill passes, little discounts will be seen. Instead, the rich insurance CEOs will just continue to get more and more wealthy!

I’d rather have Prop 26(?) from the early 90’s that advocated no-fault insurance. No-fault lets you contract or hedge to cover injury/damages to you. If I have no-fault type coverage, I know I’m going to get reimbursed from a company I have under contract. If someone chooses to go without coverage, that’s their problem.
