And he will NOT cut the K-12 schools budget, the so called “trigger cuts”. He will probably make the hard (& unpopular with the trough feeder) choices.

The Kalifornia tax increase in 09 failed. The deficit went up. Last year, Illinois raised taxes and this year, couldn’t pay its bills. You can raise taxes. It doesn’t mean you will get more revenue. Not when your taxes are too high, compared to neighboring states or other countries. The money and the jobs go to the better business climate when there is competition. For the liberals, its the competition that’s the problem. A monopoly on government is the answer for them.

You know darn well if the DemoNcrats get 2/3rds it's Katy (Grimes) bar the door as far as tax increases are concerned. For get puny quarter cent increases in sales tax, it will be Mungeress. We could easily see a big bump up in income taxes for most people and a nine or ten percent sales tax plus a big tax increase on gasoline. Remember some of the sales tax increases the DemoNcrats wanted back in 2008-2009? It's strange the Caulifornia (as Ahnode sez) voters won't vote to increase taxes on themselves but the WILL vote for politicians who will do it.
