John, Prop 30 is at just under 50, but the no’s were at 42, so I was correct there, and with 37, where the yesses lead the no’s and there are a lot of undecideds. I hope the poll you cite on 32 is right. I looked up the Around the Capitol polling average (California’s counterpart to the RCP average) as I wrote the piece last Sunday, and used its numbers for all three measures.

Your polling is way off Laer, Prop 30 is below 50%, Prop 32 is dead even and support for Prop 37 has dropped to 38%

Are you telegraphing who you plan to vote for or speaking as someone from a deep blue state? Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan and John Kennedy couldn’t win California to day. Josef Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez would have a better chance of winning California today.

I think Obama is poised to be reelected. Romney has run a beyond weak campaign and Obama has has one weak day, the 1st debate. He won the next two.
I all comes down to Ohio and the public unions have huge sway, power and money and Romney looks to be trending down there. He won’t get Penn or Michigan and Wisconsin due to the huge public union presence there.
Romney has run on country club ethics and issues and refuses to hold Obama accountable for so many huge mistakes ( not one add on lybia or fast and furious). Obama has bitch slapped him all over the country since day one.
Get used to the term’ President Obama’

It makes no financial sense for any multinational company to keep jobs in America, especially California. Simple tax math proves that beyond any shadow of a doubt. US tax policies even makes it difficult and restrictive for corporations to repatriate the profits that they’ve already earned overseas.

If Obama had his druthers he would just confiscate their overseas profits altogether under the auspices of them paying their “fair share”.

I can tell you for fact that there is a migration of major business out of California.

I know this because I am a mover. Not furniture either. I can’t count how many companies have moved on and auctioned off what was left in the last 3 years.

We don’t need that kind of business. Crossing my fingers that once Romney is in, he will be able to convince the Senate to pass his efforts to lower the corporate tax rate to 25%. California will need that to survive.
