"Historically, about 5 percentage points of people interviewed in a telephone poll falsely indicate their support for government and taxes"

Finally, someone admits the obvious - people lie to poll takers! How do we know only 5% of them lie? How many change their minds after responding to a poll or are simply confused by the questions? All published polls are propaganda disguised as news, especially polls conducted by "news" agencies. I thought the news media were supposed to report the news, not create it.

"The French are ok."

I guess that might be true if one has a fondness for insufferably arrogant, smelly, dysfunctional socialist surrender monkeys :-)

The problem with Prop 30 and any money propositions on the ballot is the Governor, state legislature and the bureaucratic elites who are looting money from k-12 education. For years the looting of public schools has gone on and very little has been said about how these legislative 'elites' divert funds from k-12 education by way of 'deferrals', payment "delays" or just 'not' paying what is owed to schools. Currently k-12 public schools are 'owed' over $9 Billion by the state because of the looting that has gone on over the last 20 years by governors, legislatures and their bureaucratic buddies who would rather see funds taken from children and used to further their own selfish aims. When you realize that Prop 30 funds will just be used by these same elites in the same old way and that the schools will get nothing you understand why people say we have to ‘fix the problem’ before we give the governor, legislature and bureaucrats more money. Remember these are the same people who have managed to over regulate, and over tax California businesses forcing hundreds of them out of the state thus loosing billions in tax revenue. No more money until we get creditable leaders in Sacramento which maybe years away.

chris street says,
With just two days to go before the election and polls showing support for Prop. 30 fading, the teachers and other public employees unions are desperately spending fortunes trying to get voters to rescue their lifestyles.
====================================
Trust me chris, your lifestyle will be far more affected by the failure of prop 30 than mine will ever be!!! And I support prop 30 but I will not really care one way or the other whether it passes or not.
