We need jobs, jobs, jobs. Let's build, build, build!

The commuter trains, subways, and light rail systems have taken thousands of drivers off the roads over the course of the past 15 years. Anyone who commutes, experiences what its like right now--imagine if all those who commute to LA every day were back out on those freeways. Not to mention the improvement to the quality of life that many of us who don't drive freeways are enjoying, thanks to the improved public transit systems.

One can only hope that the zoo where Teddy is caged runs out of money and replaces his computer with a box of crayons and a coloring book. If he gets board with that then he should just go yank his doodle and crap in his hand and throw it at the spectators like the rest of his cage mates.

hhahahahahahhaa............Teddy, if I ever shake your hand you are going to need to wash it very thoroughly before I touch it ;)

New roads is a bit like high speed rail– not too sure we need it!
==
Another ridiculous comparison.

38 million Californians use the roads, no one is going to use slow speed rail that goes from Fresno to Bakersfield.

Too easy Teddy!

Please bring back Uhaul or Queen, you made much more sense under your sock puppet gimmick accounts.

BobA, is there any hope for Teddy-or has his trougher disease gone past the point of no return :)

New roads? What happened to all the gas tax, ad-valorem tax, license fees, tolls, and auto-related sales taxes auto drivers pay? Oh yeah, they've been diverted to subsidize (mostly) useless public transit systems and totally useless light rail. We don't have a road infrastructure problem, which is easily paid for by road users, we have a wasteful spending problem.

Interesting article but the point can be expressed in 6 words: the state wants more tax revenue. Saying the state needs new roads is just on way of justifying more tax increases.

Yhat is until they can clean the foot prints and scuff marks of that "it's for the children" dead horse.
