The comments from Chesbro about a politician sound familiar. Oh, that’s right; it was when what’s his name was elected in Germany between the wars.
Who was that guy? Yup, whatever, his supporters thought the world of him.
Where did that all end up? Gee, is that happening again? I recall some of his inner circle had some lifestyle quirks, who was that guy? Where did that all end up?

As it is I just ate breakfast, and though it was a small meal I am finding it difficult to keep down…….lol

Then again, maybe it was a double-whammy, having just seen ex-Gov Gumby on CNBC, looking rather dour and trying to shill the company line about the recent election being a “mandate” to “ask a bit more of those who have been so fortunate” (I paraphrase a bit here, but we all know Gumby’s main talking points by now.)

ps……I take that back about the Gov looking “dour”. I should have realized he ALWAYS has that look on his face. You could send him into a Bangkok whorehouse with a wad of benjamins and he’d STILL have that same expression(less)…..

Second term Assemblywoman Shannon Grove (R-Bakersfield) is now in a corner office with no cell phone service and no windows. She declined to go on any of those lobbyist-funded junkets to Hawaii and other nice locations. She’s ready for another two years of rejection from crony capitalists and their enablers as she promotes better governance for California. That’s an example of what the California Republican Party leaders should be doing right now.
